External Engagement Committee
The committee will advise Council and the Institute generally on the framework and strategy for its external engagement, including its outreach programmes, media relations, public affairs and links with business and enterprise.
The committee will meet four times per year, and report regularly to Council.
The core functions of the committee will be to:
- Advise on the Institute’s strategy for external engagement with relevant groups of stakeholders
- Advise on the key messages to be conveyed, reflecting the policies developed by other Boards of Council
- Monitor progress in delivery of the strategy
- Assist the Institute in delivery of the strategy where appropriate
- Report regularly to Council
